LollyShop, a New Zealand-based confectionery company, is recalling a specific batch of its Frosted Caramels due to the presence of undeclared allergens, specifically gluten and wheat. The affected product is sold at LollyShop stores throughout New Zealand:

LollyShop Bromley (173 Dyers Road, Bromley, Christchurch)
LollyShop Hornby (64 Carmen Road, Hornby, Christchurch)
LollyShop Dunedin (117 George Street, Central Dunedin)
LollyShop Hamilton (Centre Place, Shop 78, 501 Victoria Street, Hamilton)

The product in question is:
- The LollyShop Frosted Caramels
- Product Type: Confectionery
- Sold in 175g plastic bags.
- The batch under recall has a best-before date of 04/10/2025.

People with gluten and/or wheat allergy or intolerance should not consume this product and return it to where they purchased.

If you experience harm from allergens or undeclared ingredients, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
