Hansang Trading Limited is recalling Lotte brand Almond Pepero due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (peanut) and Lotte brand White Cookie Pepero due to the presence of an undeclared allergen: tree nut (almond). These products were sold at certain ethnic grocery stores in the North Island.
The recalled products are:
- Lotte brand Almond Pepero (132g), 4 pack in a cardboard box. Date marking: 14.05.2024. Country of origin: South Korea.
- Lotte brand White Cookie Pepero (132g), 4 pack in a cardboard box. Date marking: 13.04.2024. Country of origin: South Korea.
The products were sold in the following ethnic grocery stores on the North Island:
- FromK, 24G Arrenway Drive, Rosedale Auckland
- H Mart Albany, 2/2 Tawa Drive Albany, Auckland
- H Mart City, Level 1, 9-15 Wakefield Street, Auckland Central
- H Mart Henderson, 6/42 Paramount Drive, Henderson, Auckland
- H Mart Howick, 3/166 Harris Road, East Tamaki, Auckland
- Rotorua Mart, 1058 Hinemoa Street, Rotorua
- Royal Save Mart Northcote, 47 Pearn Crescent, Northcote, Auckland
People with a peanut and/or tree nut (almond)) allergy should not consume these products. If you are not allergic to peanut and/or tree nut (almond), this recall does not affect you. Customers with a peanut and/or tree nut (almond)) allergy should return the products to their retailer for a full refund.
