Maribel's Sweets recalled Several Products due to undeclared allergen

Maribel's Sweets, Inc. has voluntarily initiated a recall of several of its products due to the presence of undeclared coconut. The products were distributed nationwide through e-commerce and retail stores in New York.

The products affected by the recall include the 2pc Ganache tote box, 2pc signature Ganache box, 4pc Ganache box, 6pc signature Ganache box, 9pc signature box, Mother's Day love purse, 7pc Mother's Day heart box, 16pc Mother's Day ganache box, and 25pc Mother's Day heart ganache box.

All have a fresh shelf life of 6 weeks and a frozen shelf life of 1 year. A total of 4011 boxes are being recalled. The recall, which is still ongoing, was initiated on May 2, 2024, and classified by the center on May 27, 2024. The products have various lot/unit numbers and expiration dates which can be viewed in the below link.

The products contain undeclared coconut, which poses a risk to consumers with allergies or severe sensitivity to coconut.
