Masala products recalled due to potential Salmonella contamination

The FDA announced the recall of 24,384 sachets of Maggi Masala and 570 cartons of Everest Sambar Masala by Amin Trading Agency LLC because the product may be contaminated with Salmonella. This product was distributed in the following states: Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, Maryland, Tennessee, Texas, Mississippi, Florida, Virginia, New Jersey, and New York.The recalled product is:
- Maggi Masala ae Magic, 6 grams, Packaged in plastic sachets. 1920 sachets per case. Codes: 20640 455AA.
- Everest Sambar Masala, 100 grams, Packaged in paper cartons. 120 cartons per case. Codes: U04D384296 / U25D390373.
This recall was initiated on 06/01/2023 and its status is ongoing. Do not consume, use, sell, serve, or distribute the recalled product.
