Panier Gourmand Inc. is recalling certain flavored olive oils due to potential contamination with Clostridium botulinum. The affected products were sold exclusively at their Montreal location on 6667 Saint-Hubert Street until June 23, 2025. The recall was classified as Class I.AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
PRODUCT: "Olive oil with bird's eye chilies"
PRODUCT: "Olive oil with thyme and rosemary"
- Packaged in glass jars with metal lids.
- These products were sold at room temperature.
The issue was identified through collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food and the City of Montreal's Food Inspection Division. The recall was initiated as a precautionary measure on June 23, 2025.
