Pekish has issued a recall for its breaded chicken products due to incorrect cooking instructions on the packaging. These products, which may not reach the necessary core temperature of 75°C, were distributed nationwide in Ireland.The recall affects:
- Brand: Pekish
- PRODUCT: Chicken Goujons
- Pack size: 400 g
- Use by dates: All use by dates up to and including 14/10/2025
- Brand: Pekish
- PRODUCT: Chicken Nuggets
- Pack size: 320 g
- Use by dates: All use by dates up to and including 16/10/2025
- Brand: Pekish
- PRODUCT: Breaded Chicken Fillets
- Pack size: 400 g
- Use by dates: All use by dates up to and including 18/10/2025
The issue was identified during a routine label review. The recall was initiated as a precautionary measure, classified as Category 1 for action, with the alert notification number 2025.55.
