Preema Food Colour Powder recalled due to Banned and Undeclared Food Colors

KPCM New York Inc. is recalling Preema brand Bright Red and Orange Food Colour Powders due to the presence of banned color carmoisine and undeclared FD&C Yellow 5 and FD&C Red 40. The products were distributed in New York and Massachusetts. A total of 720 bottles are affected.

The issue was identified voluntarily by the firm, with the recall initiated on January 29, 2026, and classified as Class II on February 6, 2026. The recall is ongoing, with notifications made through multiple channels.
