Qilu Enterprises enoki mushrooms - recalled due to Listeria

New York State Agriculture Commissioner announced the recall of Qilu Enterprises brand "enoki mushrooms" due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. This product was distributed by Utopia Produce, 83-18 72nd Drive Glendale, New York 11385, in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maryland, and West Virginia.The recalled product is Qilu Enterprises "Enoki Mushrooms" sold in 7.05-ounce bags with a UPC code of 928918-610109. The product is marked with an expiration notice of "Exp: October 26, 2023."
The issue was identified during a routine product inspection by the West Virginia Department of Agriculture. They coordinated with their counterparts in the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets to halt the spread of the contaminated product.
Do not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.
