Robinson Fresh kale greens - recalled due to Listeria monocytogenes

G and P Warehouse Inc of Ridgewood, New York is recalling "Robinson Fresh" brand of kale greens because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. This product was distributed in retail stores in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this product.The recalled product is:
- Robinson Fresh kale greens, 16 ounces, package: green and white plastic bags with a UPC code number 0 95829 60015 9, a Best if Used by Date of May 1, 2023 and additional code numbers 23/103/18.01/2/51.
The contamination was discovered after routine sampling by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors and subsequent analysis by NYS Food Laboratory personnel revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in "Robinson Fresh" brand kale greens.
Customers who have purchased the affected product are urged to return them to place of purchase for a full refund.
