First Quality Produce have issued a recall for their Snack Buddies's brand Cucumber Coins due to potential Salmonella contamination. The products have been distributed within California to 13 consignees, but not to retail.The recalled products include Snack Buddies' Cucumber Coins in various sizes ranging from 1.25-oz to 4-oz, The products can be identified by batch codes 293/073, 294/072, 303/063, 304/062, 305/061, 313/053, 314/052, 315/051, 321/045, 322/044, 324/042, 325/041, 333/033, 334/032. First Quality Produce's Cucumber Coins in 5-lb plastic trays. The products can be identified by batch codes 304/062, 321/045, 333/033, 312/054, 311/055, 313/053, 314/052, 293/073, 294/072. The total quantity of recalled products is 79,223.49 lbs.
The issue was discovered during routine testing, prompting the voluntary recall by the firm. The recall is currently ongoing.
