Best Express Foods, Inc. has voluntarily initiated a recall of two of its products: Universal Bakery Organic Aussie Bites and Universal Bakery Organic Sunrise Energy Bars. The recall was initiated due to the potential undeclared presence of gluten in these products, which are labeled as gluten-free. The products have been distributed across several U.S. states including California, Colorado, Arizona, Washington, Utah, Texas, New Jersey, Maryland, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Georgia, and Florida.

The recall affects 1,419,075 units of the Aussie Bites and 104,160 units of the Sunrise Energy Bars. The Aussie Bites are sold in 30 oz clamshell containers, while the Sunrise Energy Bars are available in 32 oz and 10 oz sizes. To view the lot numbers please view the below link.

Consumers who have purchased these products are advised to return them to the place of purchase. Those with gluten sensitivity or celiac disease should avoid consuming these products.
