Update 3: Al-Rabih Halva / Halawa - with pistachios - recalled due to Salmonella

The CFIA announced the recall of Al-Rabih brand Halva / Halawa – with pistachios by Phoenicia Group Inc. due to possible Salmonella contamination. This is the 3rd update to include additional product information. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.

The recalled products are:

- Al-Rabih Halva / Halawa – with pistachios (454 g), UPC: 7 70338 10057 3, Lot #184 34920 Best before 01/DE/22.
- Al-Rabih Halva / Halawa – with pistachios (907 g), UPC: 7 70338 10056 6, Lot #98 19620 Best before 22/JN/25.

These products were distributed in Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, possibly nationwide in Canada.

If you have the recalled products in your home, please do not eat them, throw them away or returned them to the place of purchase.
