Value Natural Almonds recalled - due to undeclared allergen

Foodstuffs Own Brands Ltd is recalling its Value brand Natural Almonds (400g) due to an undeclared allergen. The product, incorrectly packaged as almonds, actually contains cashews. The product is sold at Four Square, New World, and Pak'nSave stores across New Zealand.

The recalled product is the Value brand Natural Almonds (400g) with batch marking 035391 and a best before date of 30-03-2025. The product is sold in a 400g plastic bag.

The issue was discovered when cashews were found to be incorrectly packaged as Value brand Natural Almonds. Consumers with a tree nut (cashew) allergy are advised not to consume this product.
