Vega Farms Inc. has issued a recall for its in-shell eggs due to potential Salmonella contamination. The affected products were distributed throughout California, including to restaurants, meal subscription services, caterers, and farmers' markets.The recall involves:
- Vega Farms brand eggs
- Available in 12-count cartons and 30-count flats.
- The eggs have a handler code 2136
- With Julian dates of 328 and prior
- Sell-by dates of December 22, 2025, and earlier.
The issue was identified through routine testing. The recall was initiated on December 5, 2025.
