FDA announced the recall of 1,351 pouches of Volupta Organic Black Chia Seeds by NSI Group LLC because the product tested positive for Salmonella contamination. This product was distributed by one Costco retail location in San Diego, CA.The recalled product is:
- Volupta Organic Black Chia Seeds 64 oz. Best By: 10/31/2025, Lot 23068 - C023 FG00323, Stand up pouch. Product of Paraguay.
If you have the recalled product in your home, please do not eat it, throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
