The FSAI announced the recall of expired batches of raw chicken products by Western Brand due to the detection of Salmonella Typhimurium. These products were sold in Ireland by LIDL, TESCO, Dunnes Stores, and GLENMORE as fresh and are past their use-by date, however, the labels state they are suitable for home freezing. The list of recalled products is shown in the images below. Consumers are advised not to eat the affected batches, should they have them in their freezers.
