Yupik Foods Pistachios and Various Nut Mixes recalled due to Salmonella

Les aliments Yupik inc. is recalling certain nut products due to potential Salmonella contamination. The affected products were sold at their Montreal location and online across Canada. This recall follows a national outbreak linked to contaminated pistachios from Iran.

AFFECTED PRODUCT:

PRODUCT: "MIXED RAW NUTS"
- Format: 500 g and 1 kg
- Lot Targeted: Units sold between September 16 and December 12, 2025

PRODUCT: "NATURE TRAIL MIX"
- Format: 500 g and 1 kg
- Lot Targeted: Units sold between July 25 and December 12, 2025

PRODUCT: "Shelled, dry-roasted , salted pistachios "
- Format: 500 g and 1 kg
- Lot Targeted: Units sold between July 21 and December 12, 2025

They were packaged in bags and sold at room temperature.

The issue was identified following recalls by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. This is a Class I recall.
