My fiancé (24) and I traveled here for a wedding last year (4/2018). The very first night we ate at the buffet. Two days later he started feeling sick to his stomach. He was uncomfortable walking, was hardly using the restroom and able to eat and drink small amounts. Thursday was worst but he was able to get out on the catamaran. Feeling super nauseous of course as the symptoms got worst as time went on. He was bedridden the remaining couple of days in severe pain. When we got him back to the states we immediately went to the emergency room where they had to pump his stomach and put him on an IV. He was told he had a full bowl obstruction and would likely need surgery. He was in the hospital for a week and was told this was most likely caused from bad bacteria that was on the food at the buffet we ate at the first night. I did not get sick but I hardly ate since I noticed right away they weren’t restocking the food. You could tell it had been sitting around for a long time. | Symptômes: Diarrhée, Fièvre, Nausée
