I was traveling down to the dominican, specifically Punta Cana for my fiance's cousins wedding at the Excellence. During our stay, the staff, the shows everything was absolutely great. BUT, I was the first to get sick. It was like water, pure water as a bowel movement. Complete Nausea, anything I ate went straight through me. I could barely move, I was lethargic, ghost white, sweats... we ended up stopping into the medical doctor on sight, they had to stop me after I started explaining my symptoms to let me know there was a charge for her to offer me any advice and it was $150... so we ended up leaving. At this point my mother in law and aunt in law went to the pharmacia on site to get me some pedialyte cause i had about 20 water bottles and nothing was being absorbed and I was just getting worse, thankful for my aunt in law who is a PA and was able to get some antibiotics ordered to the pharmacia for me to take. All while I was trying to figure this out, the BRIDE also was sick... a few days later my fiance got sick, his cousin's husband got sick, my father in law got sick, and a handful of other people on the resort. We couldn't pin point EXACTLY what it was because it was so sporadic with how everyone caught it. Now, I am a nutrition coach and eat healthy id say 90% of the time, so my gut flora was pretty balanced, since coming back I have had to do some serious gut protocols to get it rebalanced from whatever it was that got us that sick. | Symptômes: Diarrhée, Fièvre, Nausée, Vomissements, Transpiration
