In April 2015, my husband and I went on our honeymoon to the DR. We stayed at the all inclusive resort. The very first night of our trip I got extremely ill. So bad, I had to stay in our hotel room the next day. I did not eat or drink anything the whole day I was sick. I started to feel a little better, I could at least stand up, always nauseous and had terrible diarrhea so couldn’t go very far from our room. My husband wanted to workout the next day so I went with him to the gym. I still felt ill so I could not work out even though I am an extremely active and fit individual. While I was at the gym just standing there with my husband, one of the workers was recording me with his cell phone and making sexual gestures at me. My husband said something to the worker and we went immediately to management. They basically did nothing besides relocate him to another part of the resort and told us to stay away from that part of the resort. I felt extremely unsafe the whole time I was there and never left my husbands side. Once I started eating and drinking again, the sickness came back. We were there for a week. When we came back to the states I continued to have symptoms for another full week until I went to my doctor and was prescribed an antibiotic. I lost over 10 pounds. I would never go back there even if the trip was free! We reported the entire trip to our travel agent who did nothing.....very upsetting. | Symptômes: Diarrhée, Fièvre, Nausée, Vomissements
