Frozen Mango Poisoning Alert - Whole Foods Market, Boston Massachusetts

Very concerned - we purchased 365 Whole Foods Mango Chunks (Frozen) on Monday 01/08/2024 at 12pm, we were home in 10 mins from leaving the South End store (South Boston) and item was placed straight in the freezer, still frozen. It was eaten by 2 of 4 people at 7.30pm, frozen with nothing on it. By 11pm, our 20 yr old daughter who ate a bowl of mango pieces developed nausea, with sudden onset of projectile vomitting which continued with dry reaching up to 4am. We have a medical BP machine, her BP was unusually low 80/55 with an abnormal racing pulse at 88 BPM. She had a temperature >38, by 7am was aching all over like the flu and remained unable to stop the dry reaching & nausea. It has now been 48 hours and she is able to keep water down. My husband who had only 1 cube by 1am felt nauseated, had diarrhoea, also ran a temperature and was bed ridden with body aching/headache symptoms.I am yet to return this to whole foods but will do so insisting they get it tested - definitely signs/symptoms of severe and serious food poisoning. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Headache, Fever

88 bpm is not tachycardia? It's within the normal range. But hope you guys feel better soon--norovirus is going around, so it might be that, not food poisoning.

Oh, didn’t know, re Norovirus going round thank you. Yes 88 normal but she’s an athlete with normal rate at 55, so we checked it when she said she felt her heart “racing”.
That sounds horrible, I hope everyone gets better soon!
Good to know re Norovirus going round, thank you!
