I know they say this stuff is good for the bacteria in your stomach, but I don't know, it might have had a different effect on me. I'm not pointing the finger at the brand, but my symptoms seemed to decrease night and day. I do have acid reflux and GERD, but I think this stuff was killing me. Maybe the dairy in it? I don't know. I don't know if food poisoning was the issue, but I have had a rough year calling hospitals at 2 in the morning, going to different doctors trying to figure out what was going on with me. All these things have gone away now that I've been off this stuff for a few weeks. I think I'm staying away for a while. Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
