Chicken Wings Illness Report - Applebee's, Millbury Massachusetts

1 year ago reported by user-jdnyc895 business

Applebee's Grill + Bar, Worcester-Providence Turnpike, Millbury, MA, USA

70 Worcester-Providence Turnpike, Millbury, 01527 Massachusetts, United States

Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps, other: Joint pain
Suspected source: Chicken
Onset: 12 to 24 hours
Duration: 12 to 24 hours
Sick: 2 people
Additional information: 2 days ago, December 15th I am not sure what exact type of pathogen it was, but my partner & I are sure it was caused by food from applebees. We had chicken wings and chicken alfredo. Several hours later, I became very nauseous and my lower belly felt queasy, bloated & gassy. Over the span of the next 12 hours, I had a dozen bouts of vomiting to the point of a dry stomach. I also had diarrhea several times, with some joint pain in my lower body. Now that it's been almost 3 days later, I feel mostly better, though my bowels feel slow and look pale. My appetite seems to be gone, but I have little issue eating most foods now in moderate amounts. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps, Joint Pain
