Food Safety Report - Buc-ees, Luling Texas

4 years ago reported by user-dgdw8218 business

Buc-ee's, Interstate 10, Luling, TX, USA

Interstate 10, Luling, 78648 Texas, United States

I got on the road at 6:30 am on October 13, 2020 heading towards San Antonio, TX. We stopped here to fill the gas tank and get breakfast and beverage. I ordered a Hippo breakfast taco and a fountain drink (lemonade with Arizona sweet tea). We get back on the road towards our destination, and I start snacking on the taco (w/ the green salsa that is packaged in a small plastic sauce container with lid). Shortly after, I feel nauseous (i.e. stomach is upset - boiling, urge to vomit, etc.). I drink plenty of iced water and the lemonade-iced tea. It helps, but the rest of the day I'm miserable. We got to our destination and made stops along the way to vomit. I'm finally home, but there are some residual effects from that Hippo taco / sauce. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting
