License Revoked: Code Violations - Burger King, Amesbury Massachusetts

Date Closed: 10/08/2019The Board of Health revoked the license of Burger King on Route 110 earlier this month, citing several sanitary code violations on top of building, electrical and fire code problems. The restaurant was closed Sept. 26 and ordered to appear before the Board of Health, which revoked its license Oct. 8.
“They will need to come in to complete compliance with all sanitary codes, building, electrical, plumbing and fire codes,” regional health director Jack Morris said. “Then, they can reapply for a permit.” Morris said the restaurant had been issued several orders to correct health code violations over the past two years.
