There was about a 1 inch shard of glass in my drink, I only discovered once it was in my mouth- it almost cut my lip and had me so shaken after finding it. My husband and I told our waitress and she told her manager who told her to “burn the ice” in the well. Ok.But the manger never checked in on us and I was even charged for the drink with the glass in it! When I mentioned this to both the waitress and the manager- he told me “oh it was actually only plastic”- which isn’t ANY better, it was sharp and a foreign object in my mouth from my drink THEY served me.
He was horribly unkept and quite frankly, his breath was so awful, I was too nauseated to be able to continue the conversation. Accidents happen. But the manager is paid to handle these things expeditiously and with customer safety at the forefront- this guy was sloppy and completely careless, making excuses and downplaying the situation disrespectfully.
I am tired of my community joking about how gross this place is, about how often it gives people good poisoning and now, how I nearly swallowed a piece of glass, something has to give or someday, someone is going to REALLY get hurt with this negligence and quite frankly, unsanitary restaurant. | Symptoms: Nausea, Other
