“First time I thought it was a stomach bug, major pain for two days. Second time I wondered....Third time full stomach pain and diarrhea. Each time I had the chicken poppyseed salad with fruit and a French baguette, all at dinner time. Each time a debilitating stomach ache started the... following morning. Currently I'm agony as I type this. ”
“Bought on the weekend. BB date is May 1 (today is the 28th). My fridge is 35F, so 5 degrees below the danger zone.
Ate 2 links at 3:30pm
First bought of diarrhea at 4:20pm
Second (pure liquid) diarrhea at 4:55pm
Only thing I've had to eat all day. The... condiments with it are both fresh (one frozen), both I've already eaten from with no reaction (sauerkraut and green beans).
Sent an e-mail to PC customer service with the relevant information. Hopefully a lot of people don't get sick!! ”
“I bought a pack of 4 chocolate muffin s on Monday 4th May 2020. I ate one in the evening and later went to bed. I was woken up an hour or so later and had to rush to the toilet so that I could throw up. I was violently... throwing up for 2-3 mins before making my way back to bed. Later, I was compelled yet again to rush to the toilet to vomit. I could also see the remaining bits from the muffin in the toilet and around the toilet bowl along with globules of blood where I must have burst a few blood vessels due to the violent vomiting.
The best before date was 19th April 2020. I returned the two remaining muffins to Asda on Monday 8th May 2020. I explained to the woman at the Kiosk my encounter and my vomiting symptoms. She apologised to me and said she would repoet it and get the other items checked. She not only reimbursed the £1 I had spent on the muffins but also gave me £5.00 worth of vouchers (initially, she was only going to give me £2.00 worth of vouchers, but when I said I would give a good review, she then offered to give me the additional £3.00 worth of vouchers). I thanked her and entered the store to do my shopping. I went straight over to the muffins and found another one dated 19th April still for sale. I mentioned this to one of the male members of staff and explained I had already reported my experience to the woman at the Kiosk. He said he will report to the manager and whilst going through the remaining stock, said that he wasn't sure who was on shift on Monday for that particular department, and he then stated that obviously, they weren't doing their job properly. ”
“Ordered 2 Dorito Tacos and 1 spicy Tostado. On 5/26/20, about 2 hours later, began feeling nauseas, turned into vomiting and diarrhea. Almost 24 hours later still queasy. Had a terrible night. Haven't been able to eat since. Was afraid I had corvid 19, but it happened about 2 hrs... after eating, and I don't have a fever or dry cough. Heading to the bathroom again right now. ”
“Me and my brother went there on Wednesday night to get food for me and him and my daughter. The very next night I got a fever and chills and my daughter got the same symptoms on Sunday and I found out my brother did as well. ”
“I had breakfast from the drive through. They made 3 cars in a row park out front to wait for food to be brought out. Within a couple hours, my stomach began to hurt, I started feeling nauseous. When I got home I threw up and had diarrhea. After drinking... some water and throwing up again, I took a nap... felt much better upon waking up, but still not 100%... just seeing if there were any other reports of food poisoning from this location... or if I was just an unlucky one.... ”
“I got scombroid poisoning from fresh salmon from in August 2019 I bought the Salmon at 6:18 pm. Took it home and grilled it. I ate a tiny piece (fingertip size) and had feeling of nausea and a little bit of vomit in my throat. The next morning I are... a piece about the same size and my face swelled up. I got hives all over my body. I called Dr and they said it’s allergic reaction and it will go away in a couple days. It only got worse. I went to urgent care. Got prednisone. It did not help. I was itching all over day and night. Went back to urgent care and got misdiagnosed. Then went back to another urgent care and into ER. Still I did not get better. I finally got to see an allergist and he said it was scombroid poisoning. I got tested for Salmon allergy and it was negative. I have eaten Salmon many times since that incident and have no illness related. It took over 3 weeks to stop itching. It was horrible. I missed important events. I was so drugged up on anti allergy drugs.i had a job interview while my face looked like a monster. And the itching was endless. I still have the piece of salmon and want to get it tested for histamines but cannot find a lab to do it. their fish company are refusing to pay my medical bills. They are not accepting responsibility for that piece of fish they sold me which had to be improperly stored for around 4 or more hours. You cannot cook the poison out of the fish. ”
