My family and I ate chick fil a at 6:30, I ate the chick-fil-a nuggets and around 9 I started to feel nauseous, 30 min later I had diarrhea. Around 11 I threw up some of the chicken. Around 3:40 am my boyfriend also threw up and woke up sick. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting

on our way home. All five (5) of us ordered chicken, but only three (3) of the five (5) ordered a milkshake. The three (3) who ordered the milkshake fell violently ill, with the exact same symptoms and at the same time, exactly thirty-six (36) hours later. They range in age from 12 - 80 years old. It is now four (4) days since the onset of symptoms, and they have not subsided. The two of us who had a soft drink in lieu of the milkshake are fine. Given we spent the weekend together, traveled together, and ate the same food, the only variant and potential culprit is the milkshake. Either the container was handled by an unclean or unwell individual or the milkshake prep area is improperly cleaned and/or contaminated. had to call into work. My boyfriend also had some stomach issues, but nothing like mine ans went to work (he ate pepperoni and jalapeño). I ended up vomiting the pepto I took, I couldn't even keep water down and threw it up minutes after taking a couple of normal sips at one point. Eventually baby-sipped on pedialyte every 8 minutes and was able to eat a sleeve of saltiness throughout the day and the entire 1L of pedialyte. The recalled products were distributed in Michigan to 25 stores including 21 Kroger locations, Diamond Dot Market, Holiday Market Royal Oak, Larry’s Foodland, and Tenuta’s Market. Home Style Foods, Inc. has had no reported illnesses to date related to Kowalski Simply Sides - Jack’s Potato Salad.

The recalled product is labeled on the top and front as Kowalski Simply Sides - Jack’s Potato Salad and has sell by date of 04/29/2024. The back label containing the Nutrition Facts and Ingredients is incorrectly labeled as “Very Berry Strawberry”, in a 16oz round plastic deli cup.
