Me and my sister went to Chick-fil-A and bought a Cobb salad, and 12 nugget meal. Yesterday, July 6 around 12 PM. Today both her and I woke up with diarrhea, vomiting, and horrible cramps & nausea and 103.2 fever. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Headache
It's not food poisoning because it would have hit you within hours but since it didn't hit until the following day that means the food was contaminated by the person preparing it did not wash their hands prior to preparing food which would be cross contamination. It's an infection control issue not food poisoning

Hi, thanks for your comment. The onset of symptoms for foodborne illnesses can vary greatly, from within an hour to several days after consumption, depending on the type of pathogen involved. It's also possible for food to be contaminated during preparation due to improper handwashing, which is a form of cross-contamination. However, this doesn't rule out the possibility of food poisoning. Both scenarios involve the presence of harmful pathogens in the food, which can lead to illness. Iwaspoisoned Support.
