“After dinner down the street at a restaurant, my 8-year old son indulged in a full scoop of Rainbow Sherbet on a sugar cone. I warned him that it was too big and that he might get sick. 4 hours later he barfed up our expensive night out. I recall... thinking that the ice cream didn’t seem very cold...and that the medium rare Pepper Steak we had earlier wasn’t hot. All night with his head in the toilet and a slight fever, I suspect food poisoning. I don’t have symptoms but I also didn’t have the ice cream. Urgent Care in the morning. ”
“Eating salad, probably E coli. Happened within minutes I ate the arugula salad with roasted cauliflower , 3 blackberries, and some green peas at 12:30 Stood up from table at 1:00 cramping began immediately. I worked outside for about an hour with a hired hand, all the while, bending over,... walking stooped. Came inside to lie down. Never could get comfortable. Finally at 8 pm , the first vomiting. I thought great. This is the end. Continued vomiting, 9:00, 10:30, 2:30. Not possible to sleep with the severe pains, and nausea. Stayed in bed all day Monday moaning. drinking water. Got up to go to bathroom but the movement so painful it took about 30 m each time I got back to bed for stomach to calm down even the slightest . Supposed to leave Tuesday morning to Dallas to help my son-in-law with the children while daughter out of town business trip. No sleep Monday night. When I got out of bed at 4:30am to catch the flight, I vomited again. Cancelled trip temporarily. Cost my husband and I $400 to reschedule. Not sure now if I can go tomorrow. I cant walk upright. So much abdominal pain. The restaurant rep explained to me that it was not food poisoning but the flu. I know the difference. She then lectured about fresh raw vegetables are not susceptible to food poisoning. I explained that lettuce is especially prone to bacteria if not washed properly.

“I opened a can of Pampa Smoked Oysters and got violently ill shortly after eating them. I took pictures of the can with it’s code numbers and expiration date. I had and am continuing to feel extremely sick. I have vomited but still remain ill. I AM THE ONLY PERSON... WHO ATE IT. THE ABDOMINAL PAIN STARTED MAYBE 30 MINUTES. THAT WAS WELL OVER AN HOUR AND HALF AGO. I DO HAVE PICTURES OF THE CONTAINER WITH ALL CODES AND ALSO THE PAPER PACKAGE THAT IT CAME IN. I BOUGHT IT AT A RETAILER TODAY. I ATE THE ENTIRE CAN. ”
“Yesterday 17 Feb (Tuesday) around 7.30pm, we got 4ppl went to your restaurant to eat dinner, we ordered plenty of sushi and other dishes. Your sushi is terrible, tasteless, especially salmon sushi and egg mayo, not fresh, I suspected this is the cause that one of my friend got food... poisoning after eat your sushi, vomit and diarrhea since yesterday night, another friend not feeling right after eating your food. I stomachache since yesterday until this morning only recover after I went the toilet. We pay to eat and enjoy your fresh and quality dishes, not food that losing freshness and tasteless. Is it right for a restaurant to serve such awful dishes for a customer especially raw food that can bring a lot of issue after eating if the food losing freshness? Can you bear the responsibility if the customer don't feeling well and get life threatening cause by food poisoning after eating your food? How do your restaurant responsible for our illness after eating your food? ”
“Our child poisoned his stomach with bacteria in Mardan Bistro (one of restaurants in hotel). He get bacteria that was in food due to improper preparation and storage of food. We are sure that he get bacteria in spaghetti bolognese on last day during lunch. On last night he get... temperature and vormit and finish upon arrival at the hospital in Zagreb. In hospital he get diagnosed with gastric poisoning with bacteria. He was five days in hospital with infusion and antibiotic. We have all medical documentation from doctors that confirms the above.
During our holiday he eat only and only in their restaurants.

“On a flight from LAX-LHR, I had the rotisserie chicken. I took a picture of it before eating it because I thought, "if I get sick, this is why." I had constant extreme vomiting & diarrhea throughout the flight and my body is completely weak. Vomiting and diarrhea started a... few hours after eating the rotisserie chicken. Continued throughout the flight from Los Angeles to London. Then again upon landing and at the Heathrow airport. Weakened body has lasted for over 24 hours with occasional bouts of sickness. ”
