Food Safety Report - Chipotle Mexican Grill, Atlanta Georgia

7 years ago reported by user-rpqn7141 business

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Peachtree Street Northeast, Atlanta, GA, United States

1745 Peachtree Street Northeast, Atlanta, 30309 Georgia, United States

Within an hour after eating half the bowl, I had horrible abdominal cramping, nausea, and diarrhea. It came in waves. Once I sat on toilet for about 20 minutes and then went to bed since it’s been such a long day yesterday, then after 1:00am, I awakened to horrible cramping and nausea again. I sat on the toilet for about 20+ minutes and had more diarrhea. This time the pain and diarrhea were worse than the first round. All I had last night was Chipotle. Either someone did not wash their hands when they were handling food or the food went bad because I only get sick when food has been handled improperly. That’s one of the few times I’ve gotten sick at this location and I cannot risk getting sick again. I have Chipotle chances to not make me sick especially since the food is so good and a better health option, but obviously it’s not better if you end up with food poisoning multiple times in a year from the same location. I never have food poisoning from other restaurants; it’s always Chipotle. Something is seriously wrong with that picture. Please refrain your staff or fire everyone that refuses to wash their hands properly and change our gloves frequently or throw out old food items. I am so sick all night that I feel green! It’s disgusting. Never again. All I want is some ginger ale and to be glued to my bed. What’s worse is my husband is out of town and I’m having to do everything by myself. Such bad timing. I hope if the manager sees this, they bring me 2 bottles of 2 liter ginger ale to my front door because man, this is horrible. If I start throwing up, I’m really going to have to either call the ambulance or something because how am I supposed to drive like this? Hopefully I don’t start throwing up. I’ll reallt forgive the manager if he or she seriously brings ginger ale to my house in downtown Atlanta and he or she promises to retain their staff. I know accidents happen, but I would not wish this suffering on anyone. I am in nursing school to learn to serve my community and I was in a nursing lab from 8am to 6pm yesterday. All I wanted was chipotle and to go to bed early since I came home with a migraine and I planned to sleep in. I got rid of the migraine, but then here comes the foos poisoning after eating Chipotle. Why did I deserve this?! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Migraine, Cramps
