Downtown restaurant City Park Grill was closed for the day Friday after Health Department of Northwest Michigan officials found cockroaches, among numerous other violations, during a routine inspection the previous day.
Publicly available inspection reports show the restaurant, 432 E. Lake St., received six citations in total during its semiannual inspection Thursday, although some were more severe than others. One of the main issues listed in the report was inadequate pest control.
