Not only did I have the worse case of food poisoning but the following morning blood gushed out - and blood continued to come out, I'm currently on day 4, from an intestinal tear if guess. Good grief, from a damn smoothie??? My dr ordered a barrage of tests and i will have to get a colonoscopy to find and repair tears. What a Mess!!! Clovis Farms ORGANIC Super Smoothie - apparently the e-coli or something didn't get cleaned off. (what this means is that the workers are pooing in the fields on the organic food that is then packaged and sold, with traces of POO) And it got packed and sold here - I called them to get the phone number of the company - the man who answered the phone put me on extended hold and returned with a bogus company name - I looked it up online and doesn't exist. Didn't put me though to a manager or anything. Customer service is most definitely lacking at this store. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Bloody Stool

I had one the worst cases of food pensioning in my life from this product from Costco.
I bought this sometime last year and used one packet right away and got sick. It wasn’t until I had a 2nd pack last weekend that I connected the dots…when I woke up at 2:30am vomiting violently plus diarrhea every half hour or so for 12+hrs. Absolutely horrible. Nausea and cramping the following 5 days, plus dehydration. Still recovering, but after 6 days finally able to eat solids a bit again.
I used this product and had no issues. I used all the pouches and so did my mother when she visited and neither of us got sick.

TIP: In many cases, contamination is not distributed evenly throughout a product, or even on the same plate! So it is possible that you 'share' a meal with someone and one person gets sick from it, and the other not. Also - some people are more susceptible to fall ill, especially the elderly, young, or pregnant. This also explains why sometimes one person will eat a product and fall ill, and another will not. 🤒
My mother just made a smoothie with the Costco bought Clovis Farm organic super smoothie morning blend. After drink a half cup she realized she was getting big bits/chunks still, so she ran it through the blender again. Again, she was feeling the shards and bits as she was swallowing. She then strained some of her smoothie to see and found bits of clear material that resembles plastics...and possibly even glass? She called me extremely concerned that she may have just drank pieces of plastics and glass shards and bits. I then get online and do a search to see if I can find any recalls of any Clovis farm smoothie products and that lead me to this feed. Now, I am very worried that maybe what you had wasn't really an ecoli infection but that may be you drank this contaminated smoothie mix like my mother and received intestinal tears from plastic or glass shards! I am very interested to know what became of your situation and how are you doing now? I am extremely concerned for my mother now....
