Kirkland Signature Chocolate Chip muffins from Costco - 6 packages (2 packs on July 17th and 4 on July 22nd). Pretty conclusive food poisoning. We always bulk-buy and freeze Costco muffins individually in zip-loc bags for our family to eat over the following month. (We often leave one or two packages on their own in the freezer for a week and take out a muffin 30+ minutes before eating.) Doing this regularly for years has always worked great and has never given us any issues A few weeks ago (starting July 18/19), we fell ill and attributed it to influenza or a bug that was maybe "going around". After either eating jello or sipping broth or whatever (three of us did different things), we started feeling better a few days later and started to go back to our regular lives but then immediately felt worse again. My husband wondered if it was the muffins so he decided to be a guinea pig. No one touched the muffins since July 25 until he ate a few this week (starting Aug 5 to today Aug 8). Nausea, cramps & diarrhea are back in full swing for him but no one else. We feel it is conclusive to say these muffins are contaminated. #costco #kirklandsignature #calgary #okotoks #alberta #muffins #chocolatechipmuffins #foodpoisoning | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Headache

Can you do an update if they responded to you? We recently found out they are selling produce with Bill Gate's Apeel on the outside which sinks into the meat of the fruit through the peeling. There is a safety Data sheet for Apeel and it is horrible. FDA approved it to be used so people here are taking a stand to only shop at store that don't poison us. Costco reportedly told Healthforward that they do not plan to partner or sell any products that use Apeel, but they have been selling it. They refused to put it in writing. The chemicals used in this is listed on their list of products they do not use, on their website.
