Ammonia Smell in Meal - Cracker Barrel, Elkton Maryland

My husband and I had dinner at the Cracker Barrel in Elkton, Maryland on Saturday. We bought an extra two meals to go. My deepest concern is what I was served when I went to eat my $6 take home meal this evening as I began to taste the mashed potatoes I stopped because it didn’t taste right! It smelled weird so I lifted the plastic container and smelled the food and it smelt like ammonia. I had another person smell it and she said it smelled really bad so I called the store and they told me that I could bring it back and they would give me another meal. I’m deeply concerned about how I ended up with food like this, I think the kitchen should be checked. I am hoping that I don’t have any problems through the night. This deeply concerns me. I have eaten there in the past and never had any problems, but this may be a new problem for them. I think the kitchen practice should be held should be looked at I really wonder what’s in this food.
