Resort food, Travelled with family between May 29 to June 5th. On 30th May my son developed stomach cramps and by the 1st June he was vomiting, had diarhea, stomach cramps, fever and unable to consume any food. He was very unwell and still not better. Upon returning back the London we took my son straight to the GP and stool sample confirms he has salmonella poisoning. Reported to the hotel who didn’t want to acknowledge that the sickness could be due to food poisoning. Rest of stay we had to stay in hotel room. Worst holiday I have ever experienced | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Cramps
That happened to my husband when we went to Punta Cana for our honeymoon. When we got back to North Dakota his kidneys were shutting down from the dehydration and he had salmonella also. He also became sepsis from it. Our resort didn’t want to acknowledge they did it either even though we never left the resort. It was unbelievable. If we wouldn’t have gotten out of the country when we did, he would have died!

what resort?
Same is happening to us as we speak. My husband has been in hospital 2 weeks with same thing. What a nightmare!
Same hotel, first week of June - same story- all 4 of us hospitalized.
I was in punta Cana a few years ago The next day I woke up with severe diarrhea and had it for 3 days, basically slept on floor in my bathroom. I will never go there again. I get alerts like every other day of food poisoning at many different resorts, one day Punta Cana resorts will go out of business because of this going on so much. Glad your son is getting better
My husband was in the hospital for two weeks. The salmonella eventually caused his appendix to rupture, his pancreas and liver to start shutting down. E. coli was also found. He had to have drainage tubes put into his abdomen to drain out the infection for two weeks and IV antibiotics and oral antibiotics for a month and a half. We are still going through it and we were there first week of June.
Was this at dreams Macao
