Mushroom-Induced Illness ED Visit - Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Cincinnati Ohio

9 years ago reported by user-xxvm3972

Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Eastgate South Drive, Cincinnati, OH, United States

830 Eastgate South Drive, Cincinnati, 45245 Ohio, United States

I came in on Sunday afternoon to get a burger. I had not eaten anything prior all day long. While I was eating the burger, I realized the mushrooms tasted weird, so I moved them off. About an hour and a half later, I started getting cramps and headaches. About an hour after that, I started vomiting violently and couldn't get off the floor. I was shaking and sweating. I had to be taken to the Emergency Department. I continued vomiting for hours and had to be placed on fluids. I was given some medication and stomach medicine. I was discharged after the puking subsided. It's been 3 days and I am still showing symptoms. | Symptoms: Nausea, Fever, Vomiting, Headache, Cramps, Sweating, Shaking
