Ate the hot bar and desserts and drank water and became very ill. when leaving. Stomach cramps, diarrhea, burning in stomach lasted for 2 days. Pretty awful.

“The king crab legs i purchased from there had a sell by date of September 12. I rinsed them as they had a slight ammonia smell and cooked them the same day. The next day I experienced nausea and diarrhea. I took the cooked crab out of the fridge and actually saw two or 3 light whitish gray transluce... nt segmented worms or maggots on the shells. I don't know if they came to the surface from inside the meat from the openings within the shell or what. I was horrified. I promptly threw them out, but wish I had taken a photo first. I will never eat crab from there again. Not fresh and false expiration dates. Still dealing with the nausea and diarrhea. ”

“The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) along with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is investigating an outbreak of Salmonella infections involving Newfoundland and Labrador, and Nova Scotia. The outbreak appears to be ongoing, as recent illnesses continue to be reported to PHAC.
As o... f February 18, 2021, there have been 57 laboratory-confirmed cases of Salmonella Enteritidis illness investigated in the following provinces: Newfoundland and Labrador (25), and Nova Scotia (32). 19 individuals have been hospitalized and no deaths have been reported.
Between October and December 2020, CFIA issued food recall warnings for a variety of eggs distributed in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador. The recalled eggs are now past their shelf-life and are no longer available for purchase. The CFIA is continuing its food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
It is possible that more recent illnesses may be reported in the outbreak because there is a period of time between when a person becomes ill and when the illness is reported to public health officials. For this outbreak, the illness reporting period is between three and six weeks.

“Ordered a chicken pizza and chicken wings from there. I have never been this sick in my life. I had vomiting, diaherra, sweats, chills, dizziness, abdominal pain... I am still waking up in sweats. My husband also has the same symptoms. We know it was this food because our 18 month old son did not ea... t it and has none of these symptoms. Our son was born with digestive issues. He could have died if he ate this. We also have a local friend that got sick too. ”
