On the evening of January 30th, 2019, I checked in to Hotel Blu in Vancouver. At 7.45am on January 31st, 2019, I had breakfast at Hotel Blu.At 10.37am on January 31st, 2019, I was driving and had to pull over to vomit. At 11.57am, I had to vomit again.
I emailed the hotel several times about this, but did not receive a response.
On February 2nd, 2019, I telephoned the hotel and told them I had food poisoning from their breakfast. They accepted this and refunded the cost of the breakfast.
At 3.27pm on February 7th, 2019, the GM of the hotel telephoned me and accepted liability for the incident and said that as a result, they had refunded the breakfast charges. She did not offer anything else and twice during the conversation laughed about it. Very odd customer service. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
