My daughter tested positive (in a blood test done at a clinic) for salmonella after a week of eating only the food from the hotel. He has diarrhea, vomiting, headaches, muscle aches, and fever. Clinitur, which has a medical center inside the Riu hotel itself and a clinic in Santa Maria, did not detect the salmonella and when I made a complaint I didn't want to know about the case. He totally ignored it and they didn't take action. I had to go to a clinic that has nothing to do with the hotel to get the diagnosis. I complained to the health police station.
