Hotel Virus Outbreak Suspected - Hotel Riu, Sardinal District Guanacaste Province

My whole family got sick on vacation and we heard a ton of other people complaining about getting an enterovirus/norovirus. The hotel says nothing and no one does anything when you tell the front desk. They deny anything is going on. There was vomit in the stairwells, staff not washing hands in the bathrooms, not enough bathrooms near the busy areas, and food tongs are left in the food at the buffet being touched by everyone. It’s disgusting. Never going back to a Riu. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
