Bali, Indonesia
I was making a chicken soup yesterday and forgot to purchase noodles/stock cubes. So mid-cook I went to the next door mart and purchased Indomie Chicken Flavored noodles, I added the seasoning to my slow cook bone broth and allowed to continue cooked another two hours. I didn't add the noodles, neither did we consume the broth. Two hours later we were both violently coughing, had a real itchy throat, tightness in the chest and wheezing. From what I could read online, we have inhaled a relevant amount of ethylene oxide, most likely aggravated by cooking indoors. We haven't slept all night, we are a bit better today although still coughing and still with tightness in chest. People need to be warned about this, these noodles are consumed everywhere, the ethylene oxide contamination in this product appears to be very, very real. | Symptoms: Cough, Other
