Wednesday Oysters bought at Lidl My husband and I were sick with these oysters from Lidl (2 kg bag) this led us to the emergency room and the analyses confirmed a norovirus infection. So it's definitely coming from oysters., My husband and I ate fresh oysters (because they were alive and moving and didn't smell bad) and got sick the next day. That earned me a full day in the emergency room and a few hours for him, with huge stomachaches, vomiting, and acute diarrhea. We ate them on Tuesday night, it's Friday and I'm not fully healed yet. The analyses showed the presence of a norovirus that oysters can carry in the event of contamination, for example by wastewater. I am making this report to avoid to others what we have experienced and are still experiencing.. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
