Pregnancy Scare: Swollen Sauce - Little Caesars Pizza, La Vergne Tennessee

3 years ago reported by user-pxzwx345 business

Little Caesars Pizza, Murfreesboro Road, La Vergne, TN, USA

5116 Murfreesboro Road, La Vergne, 37086 Tennessee, United States

Yesterday December 27, 2022. My wife is pregnant and recieved a marinara dipping cup with her pizza. She took several heaping bites w/sause and said it burned but she dismissed it thinking it was just her crazy pregnant tastebuds. She did stop eating it and put the lid back on the cup sause so it wouldnt be spilled by accident. Through the night she told me she was feeling clammy and nauseous so i told her lets take it easy and dismissed what happened thinking "surely not anything wrong with sause from a trusted franchise". Several hours later with her still not feeling well,I returned to the kitchen to get something to drink and found dipping cup swollen ,nearly exploding on the counter. I removed the lid which is normally flat and it smelt like alcohol. I replaced the lid on the container and within 30 seconds the lid was expanded again with pressure so I replaced the lid and placed contents in a Ziploc bag and called poison control. This happened yesterday night and she has thrown up three times and her arms are sore but she seems to be OK so far. We are keeping a eye on conditions and  hoping she does not get worse or hurt the unborn baby. I don't know how to handle the situation whether to file a lawsuit or just never eat there again. I hope noone else experiences this. Clammy, vomit, nausea, sore muscles. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Other, Soreness
