Ate from a new box of lucky charms around 1:30pm, started having looser stools (not liquid) and bad nausea around 9:00pm. the nausea is so bad it’s hard to sleep. i also started experiencing mild chills around midnight, but no fever. EDIT ~24 hrs later: i had a couple of smaller bowel movements today, still not 100% back to my normal consistency. i only had a bout or two of mild nausea today as well. i have mostly been sleeping it off. i am starting to feel a bit hungry again, but i’m honestly afraid to eat anything because i don’t want to risk upsetting my stomach again. EDIT ~48 hours later: i drank almost two bottles of water today, and ate some saltines. the saltines made me mildly nauseated so i only ate about 5-6. later on i felt hungry again so i ate a few more. it ended up making me very nauseous. not sure why i’m still experiencing issues. i have had a headache almost all day long most likely from not eating much or being a little bit dehydrated or both. i reached out to general mills about this issue and they are evidently not going to look into it further. all they did was offer compensation for the box of cereal i bought. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Chills, Fever, Headache, Dehydration

Maybe it’s not the cereal. I am in Guntersville visiting from Florida since Sunday and started throwing up several times this morning around 6:00a.m. Also having bad diarrhea, muscle aches, and chills. It must be a virus going around this area. I have not eaten any kind of cereal the past few days.

hi, i’m the OP. just now saw this comment. sorry you’re feeling so awful and i hope you get well soon! if you don’t mind me asking, is there any public places in Guntersville you visited a day or two before getting sick? i’m just trying to see if maybe we got sick from the same place. although, i don’t get out of the house much at all. i’m not sure if i’m experiencing food poisoning or a virus to be perfectly honest with you. i’m not experiencing any muscle aches or vomiting either, so maybe we’re experiencing two different things? let me know what you think and if you can think of any places you may have picked up the illness
Interesting. I ate at Wintzell’s on Sunday. Woke up that night with diarrhea, nausea, but no vomiting. Felt a little better Monday. I’ve never had any problems at this establishment before. Weird.
