Dear Sir or Madam,I would like to hereby report a possible foodborne illness outbreak and request an investigation of the matter.
In September 2025, my husband ate at McDonald's on Großbeerenstraße. One day later, he developed fever, vomiting, and diarrhea. Three days after that, I experienced the same symptoms, but in a significantly more severe form. We sought medical help, and astrovirus was diagnosed in both of us.
Already at that time, there was suspicion that the illness could be related to consuming food at McDonald's. From our perspective, this suspicion has been further strengthened, as our child also ate at McDonald's on Großbeerenstraße the day before yesterday and is now showing the same symptoms.
We consider it possible that there is a source of infection at the mentioned location, and therefore request a corresponding investigation to prevent further illnesses. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever
