Les Pennes-Mirabeau, 13170 Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France
Thursday, January 1, 2026 I went to eat at McDonald's with my family (my husband and my; children) and then we went to see a movie. In the evening my last 2 children (5 and 3 years old) started to have fever and vomiting, the next day Friday January 2 my 3-year-old son (asthmatic) convulsed the firemen picked me up to take us to the emergency room, after which at first they took a sample from his nose and urine thinking of a flu or urinary infection. Then let us out, back home my 5-year-old daughter and my 3-year-old son took turns vomiting, then diarrhea every 20 minutes accompanied by severe stomach pain. The next day, Saturday, January 3, my children took turns losing blood in their stools. I called the emergency services for advice they told me that following the diarrhea they should be irritated and that it was nothing. Sunday January 4 my 2 children are still so sick to the point of not being able to hold back before going to the bathroom and therefore empty themselves and still have a fever. In the evening the pains were so intense that my husband decided to take our daughter to the emergency room, they took a stool sample for them as she was still losing blood and told her to go home until she received the results. On Monday, January 5, I called the hospital and they informed me that my son was negative for the flu and a urinary infection. Tuesday 6 we learn that my daughter has bacteria in her stomach and put her on antibiotics, in the process we also took a sample from my son, put him on antibiotics and also confirmed to me that he has the bacteria that his sister has. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Headache
