My partner and I visited this hotel last summer and we were really happy to finally have an all inclusive vacation, considering that we are only 20, and it was at a good price. We were happy that we had all the food and accommodation at one place, and we never ate anywhere else except for the hotel. One night my partner started throwing up uncontrollably every 30 minutes and having diarrhea after dinner (I did not eat dinner that night). I went to the reception the next day to ask if this was normal, and to ask for help because I was sure it was food poisoning. The lady just told me that she has heard this from other guests, and assured me that its probably just a virus going around. The same night, I got an extremely high fever and also started throwing up and having diarrhea. It ruined our vacation, but that is to say the least. We came home, and a couple of days later, I started seeing black dots in my vision, and went to the eye doctor, where they immediately sent me to the hospital, and diagnosed me with chorioretinitis which apparently came from a toxoplasmosis virus. This was all new to me, but the doctor has started asking me questions about if I have eaten any uncooked meat or not welly handled meat, or eaten unwashed fruits, and I was like no, I pay attention to these things, but I think I did have food poisoning a couple a weeks ago, on my vacation at Mitsis. The doctor then took tests, and identified that I had toxoplasmosis right around the time of the vacation, and it infact was not a small food poisoning thing. So overall, I am never going on an all inclusive vacation again after nearly going blind and taking steroids and antibiotics for months, it is not worth it..at least not at hotels that don't have basic hygiene :( | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever
