Carrageenan Concern in Chicken - Aldi, Ohio

1 year ago reported by user-tbgcw973

Never Any! Fresh ABF Whole Chicken, Aldi, Ohio, USA

Ohio, United States

Within 1 hour of eating "Never Any! Fresh ABF Whole Chicken" I started having cramps, pain, bloating & diarrhea. This usually happens when I eat Sam's Club & Costco's rotisserie chicken. Carrageenan is the culprit there. My system cannot handle it. Plus it's a carcinogen, so, baffled at why they add it to foods. Does Aldi add carrageenan to their chicken? | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Bloating

Yes me too! I have Alpha gal allergy acquired from ticks and very reactive to carrageenan I believe they soak or add carrageenan to this in processing and don’t disclose it on the ingredients label! It was all my symptoms from carrageenan exposure horrible stomach pains, gallbladder pains, diarrhea, dizzy, weak, migraine horrible! I ate nothing else new but this chicken! I do not have a gall bladder problem I only get pains when exposed to alpha gal or carrageenan which cross reaction!
