Shared Burrito Sickens Two - Nico's Mexican Food, Tucson Arizona

5 months ago reported by user-zrbdy817 business

Nico's Mexican Food, North La Cañada Drive, Tucson, AZ, USA

11165 North La Cañada Drive, Tucson, 85737 Arizona, United States

I go to this location often (at least once a week), especially over the past couple years, no problems. However, it seems the bacon breakfasf burrito I purchased on 6/7/24 had a problem with it. I ate it at around 1pm that day and felt fine until waking at 1am with all the issues listed above, multiple times. I was wiped out all day the next day. I didn't think it was their food, but my housemate ate the other half of the burrito the next day and, several hours later, she experienced/is experiencing the same symptoms. We hadn't eaten anything else that was shared, so it was either the burrito or the hot sauce from Nico's, which makes me sad! | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Chills, Headache

Definitely that burrito. Probably had nothing to do with the hot sauce unless you used an abnormal amount of it.
